Homework
1 hour per week. Each week, learners will have to create different layouts to learn what works best for them. They will upload pictures of their layouts to the classroom page for other learners to comment on. The goal of this class is for us all to learn what best for each of us by working together sharing ideas. Do you love planners? Do you get excited each fall when the next years planners come out? Or do you have trouble using planners and wish that you could be more organized? Whether you consider yourself organized and are looking for new ideas and tips or would like some help becoming organized, this class is for you! Come join us as we explore the world of planning! Class 1 - Different types of planners - Bullet, Academic, Daily, Monthly, Hourly, Block Class 2 - How to use stickers and doodles in your planner effectively Class 3 - Should you use multiple planners? How do we use to-do lists with our planners? Class 4 - Creating different tracking sheets for different activities or goals Class 5 - Using your planner as a journal Class 6 - Organizing your time - Pomodoro Method, Timers, Daily vs. Monthly vs. Quarterly Class 7 - Creating a planner that works for you Each week, by Wednesday evening (9pm PST) - -I will email each student a link that weeks lecture and assignments. This will be on YouTube and is in a private account that is embedded into the Outschool classroom page. - Assignments will consist of discussion and essay questions, short research topics, Youtube videos, and worksheets. These will be posted on the classroom page. - In my flex classes, each family can determine the level of participation in the course. - Communication will be done through the Outschool classroom. -I will check in with each student several times during the week to check on progress of the homework, address any questions, or to engage in a discussion about the topic covered. Each student is encouraged to message (through the Outschool classroom) me anytime they have any questions or thoughts about the class. - Each week, there may be additional articles, videos, or pictures that will be posted to the classroom page to engage students in open conversations about that weeks topic. -Please message me before the start of class if you have any questions. Parental Guidance
This class will utilize Youtube videos for sharing of lecture videos, as well as supplemental lessons. All Youtube videos are embedded into the Outschool platform. This class may also utilize Kahoot. Learners will be given a direct link and game pin to play.
Supply List
Learners will not need any planners or notebooks for this class. Each week, I will upload different printable templates for them to try out. They may want to use markers, stickers, stencils, washi tape, or other craft supplies to decorate their pages.

I have been an educator on Outschool since February of 2018. I have my MBA and MHA, both of which have taught me the value of conducting research and asking questions. I have a passion for history, organization, reading, and learning. You can usually find me in the middle of 2-3 books or watching a documentary.
I am also an Outschool ACE Educator, which means that I continually seek out ways to improve my teaching skills and knowledge, as well as the learner experience.
