In this one time class, we will learn about the 3 different states of matter through an interactive power point presentation. The three states of matter (solid, liquid, and gas) will be defined and discussed. Through discussion, students will think of examples for each of the states of matter. After the discussions of examples, students will be asked to draw an example for each of the state of matter (solid, liquid, gas). Students can use their knowledge of the world around them to help with thinking of real world examples. Class Structure Introduction - Classmates will introduce themselves and go over expectations. Lecture/Discussion Students work Closing - Teacher will review students drawings and answer any questions.

Hello! My name is Brianna and I will be teaching a different elementary classes. I have been an Elementary School teacher for over fives years working with students from Kindergarten to 5th grade. I have a Master's Degree in Education and have my certification to teach History K-8 and Special Education. I hold current teaching licenses in New Jersey. I believe that learning is a life long journey. I hope to show students that learning is fun! When I am not teaching I love to do yoga and read a good book!
