Standardized tests are common for all students and can cause a lot of anxiety. I have learned through my seventeen years of teaching, that students whom are exposed and able to practice these types of test questions prior to their test dates, are less anxious because they are more prepared for these tests overall. I have administered standardized-state-tests in the public classroom on ten different occasions for grades third, fourth, and fifth grade. I am very familiar with the different types of questions that are included in the math and ELA (reading) sections. I look forward to helping your learner gain confidence and become prepared with test terminology, strategies, and sample questions for reading and math concepts for third, fourth and fifth grade.
