During the live class each week, learners will be guided through creating a plan for the upcoming week. They'll receive support in making accurate time estimates for each of their tasks and activities, as well as with prioritizing and planning ahead to meet deadlines. They'll then look ahead to make sure that they have all of the resources and materials they need to accomplish their planned tasks organized, or make a plan to get those materials. At the end of the class session, each learner will have a clear plan for when they will complete each of their assignments, and will know when they have free time, in addition to classes, extra curricular activities, and other commitments. Throughout the week, they'll update their virtual planner to which parts of the plan they followed closely, which had to be adjusted, and which (if any) were missed entirely. Monitoring their planners, the instructor will give advice for staying organized and provide personalized coaching during the next live class to help each student improve their planning and time management as the course progresses.

Our Founder and Principal is Laura Fragomeni, a Harvard-educated teacher who’s been educating students with diverse learning needs for more than a decade.
Over that time, she's taught students in grades K-16+ in a wide variety of settings, including traditional public school, home school, private tutoring, and hospital school programs. And she's honed a compassionate, neuroscience-based approach to instruction and academic coaching that works.
Laura founded School Without Suffering to help students around the world be both successful and happy because she believes that when students have the tools and support that they need, they thrive.
Qualifications

-Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology, and Bachelor of Arts in Women’s Studies from Emory University
