Besides being a business owner myself, I have worked in the business arena for over 15 years in various capacities and with businesses that range from micro-stores to large, multi-million dollar companies with a global presence. I was a business major in college and have done post-graduate course work specifically in the field of small business consulting. Small and emerging businesses are near and dear to my heart.
45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.

Different states might have different rules as to permits needed for minors to work or start a business and the parents might need to find out the specific requirements for their state and city. I cannot provide legal advice.
