Description
Class Experience
Students will learn the skills to prepare in advance, before babysitting, watching younger siblings or staying home alone. I like to call this, "setting the stage for success" Students will learn how to be organized, efficient, plus the importance of following the parent's routine. The students will also learn age-appropriate games and activities, and how to create an age appropriate babysitter kit. The students will also be introduced to new terms and learn new vocabulary related to babysitting.
A worksheet will be provided for students. Please bring a notebook, pencil and your questions to the class! The Ultimate Babysitting Course Manual- This is optional for learners. https://www.amazon.com/Ulitmate-Babysitting-Course-Manual/dp/1986743047/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=the+ultimate+babysitting+course+manual&qid=1634577098&sr=8-1
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
