This is a one- time class. Students will learn how to create their own version of Starry Night by Vincent van Gogh. The project pictured above is what will be completed. I will be doing a step by step drawing on how to recreate Starry Night. I will be drawing along with the students. I will guide each student in making the lines and shapes. Students will also learn how to properly use the oil pastels or crayons. At the end will use watercolor paints to create a beautiful background. The picture above was created by a 6th grade student.

Supply List
A piece construction paper or sketchbook, preferably size 12x18, a box of crayons or oil pastels, and watercolor paints.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
