We will begin by introducing our pets and sharing a little of their background. This can be any pet--from dog to cat to rabbit to snake or snail. Next, we will brainstorm story ideas that star the pet(s). We'll discuss that the stories can take different approaches and perspectives. Learners may create a piece that is from the perspective of the pets themselves, or cast the pets in a fictional world, perhaps as a hero or a villain-- the sky is the limit.
