Class Experience
In this one-time class learners compare and contrast Stargirl the book and Stargirl the movie. This is a follow-up class requested by learners who attended my summer book club discussing the book Stargirl. What will be taught: Proper use of literary terms such as: theme, setting, plot, plot points, climax, resolution, author and director's intention. Critical thinking: learners are encouraged to explain their opinions/critique of the movie vs book by considering why the book or the movie...
