Description

Class Experience

This class is taught in English.
The goal of this class is to bring students of similar interest together and give them a shared topic to discuss. This involves developing communication and social skills such as listening to other students as well as sharing their own experiences.

Stardew Valley also offers many learning benefits. For instance, the game is largely based on resource allocation and planning. Self-reliance, money management, and organizational skills all play a role. Just like growing a real farm, they need to make decisions and put in the work. They must be disciplined and consistent in taking care of the farm; the plants won't water themselves!

There is also ample space for creativity. Students can customize their character and farm. One thing I particularly like is the fact that there are mysteries within the game. For instance, there are areas on the map that you cannot get to when you are first starting out. As you play and explore, you unlock new accomplishments and even more challenges.
50 minutes per week in class, and no time outside of class.

Stardew Valley is rated #E10+
