Class Experience

Students will learn a variety of ways to write. They will be able to discuss their ideas openly with their classmates in order to make their paragraphs and stories out of this world! Students will learn to write and read their masterpieces aloud and give/receive positive feedback for their hard work.
I am a college graduate who has been writing/grading papers for year. I have tutored many students in English and Math. To this day, I am still reviewing college papers before submission. I also love all things Star Wars. This class is a great mix of writing and Star Wars.
No homework is assigned. Many writing prompts may need to be finished outside of class if time runs out. The students may want to add on additional paragraphs throughout the weeks.
Printouts (available weekly) Pencil/pen Extra paper
No formal assessment is given. The students will be able to read their stories aloud and receive feedback that way.
40 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
If the student cannot write properly, please be nearby to help them get started.
Some movies we will possibly be discussing are PG and PG-13. I will facilitate the discussions to make sure everyone stays on course.
