Class experience
In this class, we will dive into the universe of Star Wars by looking at the coolest and most popular peoples, planets, cultures, and languages of Star Wars movies and television shows. Each week we will cover two different planets and deeply immerse ourselves in interesting information about those peoples and places. I hope that students will be able to learn cultural analyzing techniques that will make them more culturally sensitive and accepting of people, places, and ways of life. Most of all I just want the students to have fun!
I am a HUGE fan of Star Wars with a deep knowledge of its lore. Furthermore, my extensive study of History at the University of California Davis has given me the tools to understand how to both understand and explain various cultures and ways of life.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
