Channel your inner Dark Side as we work out with our fellow Dark Jedis, Stormtroopers, and Sith in training. Lightsabers and dressing up are strongly encouraged. Be prepared to learn skills and work out moves that will get you sweating and prepare you to become One with the Dark Side. You can choose to be a Sith, a Stormtrooper, a Dark Jedi, or even a Knight of Ren. You will also have the opportunity to discuss some of your favorite characters and workout moves from class. (Newly extended time and material!) Class Structure: 5 min: Introductions/ Star Wars mini discussion 20 min: Cardio/ HIIT Sith Workout including 5 min warmup with a Stormtrooper (me), 5 min youtube workout with Kylo Ren, 10 min HIIT workout with a Stormtrooper (me). 5 min: Cool down 5-8 min: Discussion/ Share favorite workout move If you've taken my Jedi class, you'll love the Sith class- it will be a similar flow, but with the Dark Side! Please feel free to post photos of your little Sith in training! *Note: This is a Cardio/ HIIT (High intensity interval training) based class. Also, I realize a lot of stormtroopers use blasters, but we will be focusing on using the Force and Lightsabers. *Classes will be between 35-40 min depending on number of students enrolled. At the end of each class learners are welcome to share their favorite workout/Jedi moves they learned that day. Learners are encouraged to bring a lightsaber, a stick, a pool noodle, or something along those lines. If you don't have anything, it's ok, we love make believing. It is also important to have a good amount of space to move around, as well as comfortable shoes (or bare feet), a mat or carpeted area, and some water. Transfers can only be made up until the day before, except under extenuating circumstances. (Also available for birthdays or parties upon request) *Note: This is a Cardio-based class. Make sure to continue to drink plenty of water throughout the day. Learning Goals
Students will learn to have positive discussions with fellow learners about Star Wars moves from the Dark Side, characters, and work out moves. During our work out, students will learn to stretch correctly. They will learn fun and exciting moves through working out that will help them look and use the force like real members of the Empire. This is a cardio-workout, which will: strengthen heart and muscles, burn calories, reduce body stiffness, and boost "good mood" chemicals.

Parental Guidance
Make sure the students have enough room to move around.
Comfortable clothing is preferred, as well as water.
A light saber of sorts is preferred- you may also use a pool noodle, a stick, or any other kind of item that resembles this.

I took health and nutrition classes in college. I work out on a daily basis using a variety of techniques. I love working out and can't wait to teach your children some fun ways to work out and to create healthy lifestyle habits.
My family also LOVES all things Star Wars! I have seen all the movies and know the characters well enough to have fun discussions with the learners.
