Class Experience
Each week we will read a short story based in the Star Wars universe. Students will discuss their favorite parts of the story and answer questions in a discussion form. This class is designed to build the three C's: comprehension, critical thinking, and comradery. Each week there will be either open discussion or a short trivia game that requires the students to recall details of the story. Learners will pick favorite characters and scenes to draw between classes and show their fellow...
Each student will be asked to draw one of their favorite characters or scenes from the story that we have read. Homework should only take 5 minutes unless a student gets excited and wants to take it further.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
15 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
We will be reading out of 5 Minute Star Wars Stories. It is a collection of short form stories based in the Star Wars universe.
