Class Experience
Star Wars is a franchise loved by many over the years. The Star Wars franchise depicts the adventures of characters "A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away", in which humans and many species of aliens (often humanoid) co-exist with robots (typically referred to in the films as 'droids'), who may assist them in their daily routines; space travel between planets is common due to lightspeed hyperspace technology. Students will be encouraged to participate as much as possible during class.
I have taught movie and film analysis for the past 10 years, in person and online. Also I have been a Star Wars fan myself for over 30 years.
Each student should watch one movie per week.
30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
Everyone is expected to be respectful to each other. This class is meant to be a fun and friendly environment. Most Star Wars movies do depict minor violence and actions scenes. You may find other movie reviews about content online as well to assist you.
