This is the ultimate class for Star Wars fans! We will watch EVERY live-action Star Wars movie in original release order! Buckle up, Rebels, we're going hyperdrive in 3...2...1! Each week, Padawans will discuss character arcs, plot development, interesting facts, and Easter eggs. I provide visually appealing slide shows to go along with the lesson with pictures from the movies along with discussion questions. My classes are low-pressure and suited to every type of learner. Your student will be encouraged to participate actively in the discussion, but never pressured to do so. I don't call on students unless they have their hands up, so I will never call on a student who isn't ready and willing to answer. There is no reading or writing necessary for this class. The purpose of this class is to have fun talking about the things we love. Feel free to bring Star Wars toys and props to class! With a BS degree in Early Childhood Education and over a decade of experience, I have had the privilege of teaching students from pre-K to 12th grade. My primary areas of expertise are literature, reading, and writing. In addition to traditional classroom teaching, I've successfully homeschooled my own special needs son for more than 10 years and led classes in our local homeschool co-op.
