Welcome to the Star Wars galaxy! You've decided to set off on the path of the Mandalore, walking in the footsteps of famous bounty hunters and warriors as you set off to reunite your clan in the Outer Rim. If you've ever played Dungeons and Dragons, or want to learn what roleplaying is all about, this is a great way to get started. We will be playing with the Star Wars D6 system, and I'll teach students everything they need to know during the first 20 minutes of class. This class is a role...
Students will learn how to ask important questions, analyze their decisions, and understand the cost/benefit nature of choices. Students will develop their group problem solving skills.
This class will be taught by Adam Scott, founder of the DnD Club. An active classroom educator, with a Masters Degree in Teaching, Mr. Scott is also a professional game master who runs roleplaying games for private clients. He's familiar with establishing guidelines for "roleplaying" behavior, setting limits on roleplaying actions to stay on track for the lesson, and incorporate a debriefing for each session to allow learners to digest their perspectives on the scenario. He's also a huge Star Wars fan.

10 files available upon enrollmentStudents will need to select a character from one of the templates provided upon sign up. They will need several six sided dice, paper, and pencil. An online dice roller can be found with a google search of "online dice roller".
Star Wars is a universe that contains fantasy violence. This class will roleplay a simulated attack on a sci-fi military base and themes of "bounty hunting". Students may explore ideas of good and evil via "The Force". While violence will be alluded to, descriptions will be age appropriate and PG in nature. Students will in roleplaying decisions very similar to Dungeons and Dragons.
