Class Experience

The students will craft along with the class.
My children and I enjoy crafting for their American girl dolls. We have made several of these crafts before, and they are always a hit!
*For each class I usually always have a glue-gun, scissors, a pencil or pen & a ruler For Class #1: For the light saber: you will need: a long glow stick (the kind used for bracelets), 2 oval wooden beads, silver paint (or a paint pen), 1 medium sized black bead, and 1 small black bead (for the on/off button- I am using a perler bead), and a glue gun. For this class, we will also get our Baby-Yodas ready for next class. We will need 1 ping pong ball & green air-dry clay. (We want our air-dry clay to dry for next week!) For class #2: For the Baby-Yoda: 1 empty toilet paper tube, green craft foam (to match the same color as the green air-dry clay), pink craft foam, 2 round black beads, 1 piece of tan felt, tan craft foam, scissors and a hot glue gun. For class #3: For the BB8 droid: a printable from the classroom, 1 lollipop stick, a black marker, 2 Styrofoam balls (the smooth kind works best) sizes 3 inch and 2 inch, silver beaded straight pins, 2 rounded black buttons (medium and small sized), scissors and hot glue.
The students will be assessed based on participation.
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
