Hello there! Are you a Star Wars fan? Do you enjoy coloring? Join Jedi Master Laura for some Star Wars coloring fun. During this social 40 minute class we will color a picture of a Star Wars character. This is not just a coloring club: students are encouraged to talk about their favorite Star Wars movie, video game, or book series. Students may also wear Star Wars clothing, costumes, or show off a collectible they have. The class is designed to be interactive, and at the end we will all...
Students will practice coloring Star Wars characters using the colors normally used for the characters, or they can be creative and make their own set of colors for the characters. This is also time to socialize and learn more about the Star Wars Universe.
I have been a Star Wars fan almost all my life. I have watched almost all the series and movies out there, have played a number of Star Wars video games (Jango Fett, Rogue Squadron, Podracing), and have read many of the books and comics (including Legends novels, the Young Boba Fett series, Jedi Quest, and Jedi Apprentice)...there are too many things I could list and those are just a few examples of what I enjoy about Star Wars. I love all things Star Wars, and have my own collection of books, figures, and shirts.
There is no homework for this class.
2 files available upon enrollmentJedi Master Laura will provide the coloring sheets. Please come with your choice of crayons or colored pencils.
There is no assessment for this class.
40 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Star Wars is known for its lightsabers and blasters (weapons). Some of the series contain more violent content than others. For the Padawan Learners out there, here is a quick guide to content suitability: https://www.commonsensemedia.org/blog/star-wars-age-by-age-guide. This is NOT a gaming class (we don't play video games during class time) BUT I do understand that some learners make friends in class and want to become Nintendo friends or share gamer tags for video games they can play together. Upon signing up, PLEASE keep in mind and follow Outschool's policy for gamer tags: * Learners or parents should message gamer tags directly through a private message * Never allow learners to share their gamer tags in the classroom page (this means teacher or parents should delete comments from learners that do). Thank you!
Crayons, markers, or pencils (left to parent/learner discretion; teacher will use either crayons or colored pencils). Coloring sheet provided by teacher.
