Learning Goals
Students will be able to dress up as their favorite Star Wars characters and talk about them, thus improving their vocabulary, cooperation, memory, and listening skills, as well as communicating their thoughts and feelings. I want to see their imagination and creativity through play, interactions, and the craft we complete together. They will learn the story and the background, discuss with others the themes of the stories and their favorite parts, as well as bring home a cute and fun craft. Most of all, I want them to enjoy themselves and HAVE FUN being in a galaxy far far away for the day.
Please share photos of your child's work during or post class.

My name is Alyssa. I’m a Top Educator on the Outschool platform.
I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Utah State University with my Bachelor's of Science Degree in Family Life/Child Development. I have an instructor’s license as well as TESOL and TEFL certifications.

I am very excited to meet you! I have been teaching or tutoring since 2010. I love to teach fitness, music, ESL, math, reading, cosmetology, and anything to do with Disney, especially Star Wars! I am proud to be the original instructor of the Star Wars Jedi workouts for Outschool! I like lightsaber training and finding fun and cool ways to help kids get moving and become more involved with fitness! I have worked with all ages, but working with children is my favorite!

Outside of teaching I love to read, run, swim, go on vacation, and play with my children. I have such a passion for teaching and learning. I am a teacher who loves precision and exactness, while still having a lot of fun! I enjoy incorporating singing, dancing, laughter, and excitement into my classes, while making new friends along the way. It is such a joy when my students learn a new concept or skill. I am energetic and always try my best to help my students succeed. I look forward to our fun adventures ahead in learning together! See ya real soon!

**Note: I follow Outschool’s policies for all enrolled classes; including the limited refund policy, withdrawn students, and transfer students. I cannot transfer students within 24 hours of the class start date. I cannot withdraw students after the class start date. Please refer any other questions to the Outschool team for clarification.
