Description
Class Experience
Students will learn the different components of the Hero's Journey and identify them in Star Wars and world mythologies.
Certificated High School English Teacher in California.
A one-page handout on the Hero's Journey will be provided.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Individual informal assessments after each class.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
The Hero's Journey does include discussion of the supernatural. While video clips will be chosen carefully, there may be violent elements such as use of light sabers or space battles. We will use Kahoot, Jamboard and YouTube through screen sharing, and no accounts are required.
