Class Experience
We will be reading the first book in the Star Friends series, Mirror Magic. This middle grade book is perfect for the elementary age student who love reading already or are trying to find a love for reading. We will start the course with an introduction to the material. Each week there will be a list of vocabulary words that we will review together that will be seen in the upcoming reading homework. Each week after the first will consist of discussion questions and opinions on what was read...
Students will expand their vocabulary and reading comprehension.
I am an avid reader and homeschool mom.
Each week, up to five chapters in the book should be read before the next class. This should take around 10-15 minutes of reading each day for five days.
Book: Star Friends Mirror Magic which can be found for around $7.
45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
This book revolves around a magical world, and it also contains the mention of a death of a grandparent.
We will be reading the book Star Friends #1 Mirror Magic written by Linda Chapman Illustrated by Lucy Fleming.
