Class experience
This class is designed to help students get a jump start on their band classes. It is held in the summer to give flutists a chance to learn concepts they will be studying in their school band class. Flute students who are learning independent of a band program are also welcome. Standard of Excellence is a popular band method used by many band programs in this country. Students will learn basic rhythms - quarter notes, half notes, whole notes and rests. They will learn 4/4 and 3/4 time, B-flat time signature and eighth notes.
Homework Offered
