In this one-time class, the teacher and student(s) will work through sample questions to refresh the students' memory of test taking strategies and tips.  Sample questions from past (state released) tests will be used as examples.  Important Note:  Your student will focus on the STRATEGIES for effectively answer questions, not individual answers.  For example:  Which answer is obviously wrong (aka...a silly answer choice)?  Students will be reminded of how to use/eliminate answer choices to determine the correct answer(s).

Thank you so much for visiting my class information page!  In addition to having a Master's in Education degree, I am a certified (State, GT, ESL, TESOL, TEFL, TEYL) teacher who has been working with kids in a variety of capacities for over 25 years!  I love teaching students how to learn!  My goal as a teacher is to help students not only learn material, but to develop a love of learning as well.  I understand that every learner is unique, so I strive provide meet them where they are.  I focus on helping students learn content while incorporating important life skills such as: communication, problem solving, creative thinking and social skills.  My teaching style is very learner-led!  

Please note that all of my classes are ESL and neuro-divergent friendly.  I strive to provide inclusive classes in which learners of all abilities are welcome.  Feel free to contact me prior to class with any accommodation requests.
