In this one time class, the students will practice cutting paper hearts that will become LUCKY shamrocks. They will follow directions to fold their paper, draw a special shape, and cut carefully on that shape. It would be helpful if your child has a pile of 4X4 squares of paper ready before class so that they can practice cutting several times. These cut hearts will then be used to create lucky shamrocks and a shamrock person project. The students will use scissors and glue and crayons or...
~Students will practice carefully using scissors. ~Students will practice using glue. ~Students will practice cutting out hearts. ~Students will follow directions to create a shamrock person using cut hearts. ~Students will use creative skills to fold paper like a fan. ~Students will use social skills to interact with other students.
Students will need white and green color paper, crayons or colored pencils, scissors, glue. *It would be helpful if your learner also has a stack of paper cut into small (4X4) squares to practice cutting a lot of hearts.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
The students will use scissors.
