As we read our story, students will practice their listening and reading comprehension skills and be encouraged to interact with the teacher and each other by participating in a discussion throughout the story. Hello! My name is Miss. C and I am so excited to share my love of learning with my students. I have a bachelor's degree in education and a master's degree in curriculum and instruction. I have over 10 years experience teaching students age preschool through adult in public and private educational institutions. I also have experience tutoring elementary through high school students one-on-one and in small groups.
I am a lifelong lover of learning and believe learning should be fun, engaging, creative, and hands-on. When learning is enjoyable, students are actively engaged, motivated, make connections, retain information and develop a love of learning. My classes will provide a stimulating, inclusive, supportive and safe learning environment for all students.
I am a proud wife and mom of three and spend my days teaching and running between the gymnastics and jiu-jitsu gyms, soccer and baseball fields. In my free time I enjoy spending time in nature, hiking, skiing, and being on the water. I also have a passion for traveling and experiencing new adventures.
