In this hour of science and stem, we will complete 2 experiments and do 1 stem activity! 1. St. Patrick's Day Fizzing Rainbow: We will talk about combining solids and liquids to create a gas! 2. Skittles Rainbow: We will create a hypothesis and talk about why the colors don't mix! 3. Lucky Charms Catapult: We will build a catapult to fire Lucky Charms and see how far they will launch! It will be an afternoon filled laughs, excitement, and learning! I can't wait to see their eyes...
* Small bag of Skittles * Glass plate * 1 cup hot/warm water * Baking Soda * White Vinegar * Liquid Food Coloring * Plastic Jello Shot Cups (6) * 9in x 13in Aluminum Foil Pan * Craft Sticks (9) * Rubber Bands (6) * Plastic Spoon (1) * Lucky Charms Cereal ___________________________________ * 1 Mini Black Cauldron Pot (optional) * Gold and Green Glitter (optional) * Small Gold Coins (optional)
