Class Experience

Are you ready to have some fun and get moving? In this super fun and fast-paced class, learners will be given a clue to find an object in their home that fits the description. At the beginning of class, we will have introductions and get to know our new friends. Then, we will review the rules for the game. We will also discuss some different things we think of when we hear "St. Patrick's Day," like leprechauns, green, gold, rainbows, four leaf clovers, etc. Teacher Kristi will show a clue and set a timer to 1 minute for children to search through their homes to find an object that matches. When the timer goes off, learners will have the opportunity to share their objects with the teacher and their friends and explain why they chose that item. Then, we start all over again with another clue!! Let the games begin!!

Some examples of clues are:
1. Find something you play with that is green.
2. Find something gold.
3. Find something with rainbow colors.
4. Find something that is lucky for you.
5. Find something shiny.
6. Find a hat.
7. Find some black shoes.
8. Find some striped socks.
9. Find a penny, pick it up, and it will bring you good luck!
10. Find something small.

I will be sure to discuss the rules of the game with students at the beginning of class. These rules include:
1. No running!
2. Return all items to where you got them.
3. Take turns sharing. Be respectful to the speaker. Have great listening ears!

I look forward to seeing your learners in the classroom!
