In this class, we will rotate through each of the different sections that appear on both the Upper Level ISEE and the Upper Level SSAT: Verbal, Math, Reading and Writing. We will work on two different sections in each session, and we will rotate through different combinations of those sections so as to keep the class fresh and interesting. This is an enjoyable, down-to-earth class, appropriate for anyone who is serious about taking a standardized test as part of their high school entrance process.
Because this is an experience tailor-made to at most three students, I will be assigning test-appropriate homework that will reinforce the material we covered during the session. I have a wealth of material in my files that I can assign for homework and I have a sharp instinct for what to "prescribe" at the end of the class. I am good at giving students the right amount of the right kind of homework.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

This class is academically oriented. There is no content that might be considered alarming.
I have plenty of material of a wide variety to carry the class. Our students really only need to bring themselves to the meeting. That said, any materials that our students would like to bring to class and consult with is welcome. I like test prep manuals of every stripe. I collect them, and I am always interested in finding out about new ones.
