Squishmallows In Space is a cosmic adventure for those who love outer space and Squishmallows! This unique class takes students on an extraordinary journey through space with the Squishmallows Space Squad. Blending education with fun and creativity, students will explore the sun, moon, stars, Earth and other planets, as well as the fascinating realm of space exploration through lessons, pictures, and videos. Each class will include a hands-on activity related to the topic. There are 6 videos as part of this self-paced class. You can take them in any order. ☀️ Sun - Discover the importance of the sun in our solar system, its composition, and how it supports life on Earth. 🌎 Earth - Understand Earth's distinct features, including its atmosphere, ecosystems, and geology. 🌙 Moon - Learn about the phases of the moon, its surface features, and its role in influencing tides on Earth. ⭐ Stars - Dive into the night sky to identify and learn about different stars and constellations. 🪐 Other Planets - Get to know each of the planets in the solar system by learning about their order, composition, orbit, moons, and rings. 🚀 Space Exploration - Explore the history and future of space exploration, from early discoveries, to modern space missions, astronauts, and a few surprise facts! I’m a mom to two amazing kiddos, both currently in elementary school. Before having my kids, I had 7 years experience in working with children primary-aged through elementary school. I was an assistant Pre-K teacher followed by working at various summer camps through my local Parks & Recreation department. I’ve worn many hats throughout life but my favorite one is being a mom.
