Squishmallow Drawing Crew for Ages 5-10

Are you ready to join the Squishmallow Drawing Crew??? 

This is an awesome group that meets once a week to draw one fun squishmallow! At the beginning of class, I will introduce a new squishmallow squad (group of squishmallows), and the students will get to vote on which one we draw for the day. To vote, the learners will give me a thumbs up, and I will tally all the votes for each squishmallow. 

Then we will get to work drawing the winner! I will give a full tutorial on how to draw and color the selected squishmallow, but students are encouraged to get creative with their drawings and add their own fun spin on them. I will mute the class during drawing time so that background noise isn't a problem and everyone can easily hear the instructions. 

During the coloring time, kids can unmute and talk all about their drawing and squishmallow collections. For this group, students need crayons, paper, a pencil, and a black marker. 

Students will be encouraged to share their drawings with the class at the end of classtime. 

Students are also encouraged to bring squishmallows to class. If there is time at the end of class, we will take a look at the squishmallows everyone brought for a mini squishmallow party. 

Squishmallows will be drawn from the squads below based on learner choices from those squads. Once a month, I will have a "Bring A Squishmallow to Draw Day." Instead of picking a squishmallow from a squad, we will draw one of the learner's squishmallows during class time. The class will get to vote on which one they want to draw.
