Class Experience

Grab your materials, and let's create these cute Squishmallows! Your favorite Squishmallow stuffies are welcome to join in as well!

This is a Self-Paced class, which gives learners the opportunity to participate on their own schedule, and at their own pace. Little artists will be guided step-by-step through the creation of Squishmallow artwork with pre-recorded instructional videos. Each video will be 15-25 minutes long, and can be paused as needed depending on how much detail your little artist would like to incorporate. A close-up image of the artwork will also be attached.

I’m available to all my learners for critiques! Students are welcome to message me with a picture of each completed drawing, if they would like feedback. Please allow up to 5 business days for critiques.

This is a 4-week course covering the following drawings- Archie the Axoltl, Cam the Cat, Maui the Pineapple, and Malcolm the Mushroom! Learners will have access to the following Squishmallow Art content each week. (If full course is paid in advance, the subsequent Art will become available once the previous is completed)

This class is structured for Beginner to Intermediate artist- No previous experience is required, and the drawings can easily be modified dependent on how much detail each learner would like to incorporate.
While this class is geared towards having FUN while creating, I aim for my learners to leave my classes with a good foundation of sketching and shading techniques, as well as some basic skills that can be applied towards future drawings. We will be discussing gradient shading, adding dimension, creating proportions, line weight, contrast, and much more!
It's all about having FUN while exercising our creativity! Students will have 'Artistic freedom' to add their own spin on each piece we create.

Creativity is contagious, pass it on.

Learning Goals

My ultimate goal for this class is to create and nurture a love for Art in my students.
Goals for learners in this class are to create a drawing that we are happy with, one step at a time. I would also like my students to be able to walk away with a good foundation of sketching and shading techniques, and some basic skills that can be applied towards future drawings.
