Squishmallow Squad: Stretch, Sketch, Socialize! Movement, Art, and Sharing with Friends! 🐻✨ Does your child love Squishmallows? Then this is the class for them! Each week, we’ll combine the magic of Squishmallows (or any stuffed buddy) with movement, art, and social time. It’s the perfect blend of creativity, exercise, and fun with new friends! Class Flow: 🧸 Show & Tell: We’ll start with sharing time where kiddos can show off their Squishmallows or any beloved stuffed animal—no specific brand needed! It’s a great opportunity to socialize, share stories, and bond over our cute and cuddly companions. 🧘♀️ Light Stretch Sesh: Next, we’ll do some gentle chair yoga and light stretching to simply take a moment in the day to relax and breathe deep! Perfect for all skill levels, this part helps kids stay active and build a positive relationship with exercise while having a great time stretching WITH their Squishmallow! ✏️ Simple Directed Drawing: Each week, we’ll draw a brand new Squishmallow character. Don’t worry if your child isn’t a drawing expert—this class is all about having fun, being creative, and bringing Squishmallow pals to life on paper! I’ll guide the simple drawing step by step, but kiddos are totally welcome to add their own flair or go in their own direction. If you've been in some of my other classes, you've probably heard me say... "There are no rules about dancing!" Well, the same goes for making art! No pressure here! 🎨 Coloring & Friend Time: Once our sketches are complete, we’ll color them in and add special details. This is a great time for kids to chat, connect, and share their unique artistic touches. 🎮 Game Time (if there's time!): We’ll wrap up with a fun game if there’s time left. -------------------------------- What’s Special About This Class? -------------------------------- For the same price as your kiddo's next Squishmallow, they can spend an afternoon making new friends, boosting their self-confidence, and squeezing in some movement—all while letting their creativity shine. It’s not just another stuffed animal… it’s an experience that helps them grow, laugh, and have fun every week! 🧸✨ (But yes, you can still expect them to ask for that cute kittycorn Squishmallow next time you're at the store. 😉) "Squishmallow, Stretch, Sketch, Socialize" is all about having fun, getting creative, and building friendships in a positive, no-pressure environment. Every week, kids can look forward to an uplifting experience that encourages healthy habits, confidence, connection, and loads of Squishmallow joy! 🥳 Let the Squishmallow adventures begin!
Learning Goals
Encourage and Uplift: My main goal is to build up every child, reminding them that they are wonderfully made and loved just as they are. I aim to create an environment where they feel supported, valued, and confident in sharing their unique gifts!
Promote Healthy Movement: Introduce gentle stretches and yoga as a fun way to care for our bodies. This helps kiddos develop lifelong habits of staying active.
