In this class, we will be expanding our knowledge of earthworms. We will discuss worms and what the students already know about worms. Learners will then get to learn and sing a wiggle worm counting song. Next we will discuss the parts of the worms and learn their scientific terms, learners will then get the opportunity to try and identify parts of a worm from various pictures. Students will also learn what worms eat and some interesting fun facts about worms. We will be finishing up class with a fun art project of stringing cheerios along a pipe cleaner to make a worm, and our goodbye song. Learners will not be muted unless necessary, they will be able to participate with me and other students and join in the discussions.

Students will improve their understanding of worms, and the benefits of worms in nature.

Parental guidance recommended when using small pieces like beads, cheerios, etc.
Supply List
Learners will need: -Cheerios (preferred), beads, or something small with a hole that can be strung along. Parental supervision recommended for small items. -Pipe cleaner or yarn

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

Hi friends! My name is Ms. Kelly. I was a preschool teacher for 10 years before becoming a Mommy to my 4 year old daughter. I love story and circle times, art projects, letters, practicing manners and feelings, and learning through play!
