Spy Kids is back with a new critical mission!!! 'Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house, not a creature was stirring... except the Christmas cookie thief! If Santa arrives and there are no cookies for his milk, he's not going to be jolly! And if Santa isn't jolly, he might just put you on his "naughty" list! That's why I, Agent Curly, need your help! Your Mission, if you choose to accept it, is to find out who took the cookies and return them before Santa arrives. Dress in your Christmas pajamas for a fun Christmas mystery sure to satisfy your spying and taste buds! DESCRIPTION In this Spy Kids Academy** style one day mission, recruits will engage in S.T.E.A.M. activities to find the missing Christmas cookies... hint... it may even be in their very own home. Recruits will heighten their power of observation, unlock lateral and critical thinking skills, decipher codes and clues to complete their mission to find the missing Christmas cookies. Succeed in finding the missing cookies and "taste" the benefits of a job well done. Fail and... well, failure is not an option! Santa's jolly fate is in your hands. Do you have what it takes to find the cookies? Join us and find out! **Spy Kids Academy completion is helpful, but not necessary. Please note, there will be a "treasure" hunt in the child's home and PARENTS WILL NEED TO SET IT UP BEFORE CLASS. There are 9 clues and it shouldn't take more than 15 minutes to set up, if that long.** *** PARENTAL PREP is EASY but essential to the success of this mission! Please read ALL information before registering!!! Safety is of the utmost importance so please review the PARENTAL GUIDANCE section. *** IMPORTANT information for PARENTS: Please have the HANDOUTS prepared and final clues hidden and set up before class starts. Everything will be uploaded to the classroom page upon registration and delivered via email. It is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to contact me before the class begins if you will not be able to have the materials printed out and set up in the correct locations. We can always work through issues in advance, but it is heartbreaking when that one camper cannot fully participate because nothing is printed out and set up for him or her. Parents should be close by in case their child needs help finding the clues and hidden items, however, I will also be there to assist each child with verbal and visual prompts. I guide them in discovering the answers, but each camper is on a separate mission in their own home. Mission problems can be avoided if parents read the step-by-step, detailed, easy set up checklist and follow it accordingly. It will be posted on the CLASSROOM PAGE upon registration. Students will learn how spies use the "Scientific Method" to solve problems and answer question. They will heighten their power of observation using the five senses, unlock lateral and critical thinking skills, decipher codes and clues, and problem solve.

It is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to contact me before the class begins if you will not be able to have the materials printed out and set up in the correct locations. I'm a published fiction (mystery) and nonfiction author, former homeschool mom of four, and have taught and tutored all ages for close to 20 years. For the last 7 years, I've taught Spy Kids, first as a summer camp, then as a full curriculum with a homeschool co-op. Just this summer, over 300 children took my Spy Kids Academy camp. I created this course to give my Spy Kids graduates another mission to solve, however I've been designing and conducting successful interactive parties and programs for the last 25 years.
