We will infer, read for details, discuss antonyms and synonyms, and draw conclusions. Also, we will be doing some fun spy themed activities and crafts Class 1: chapters 1-3 Introductions Discussion of chapters read Vocabulary, infer, read for detail- discussion What is your spy name? Learn to write with invisible ink Class 2: chapters 4-7 Discussion of chapters read Synonym/antonym, visualize, vocabulary, infer- discussion Taking a look at fingerprints Class 3: chapters 8-10 Discussion of chapters read Summarize/infer/reflect- discussion Make a secret decoder Class 4: 11-12 Discussion of chapters read Infer/predict/vocabulary discussion Memory game Spy game

Copy of “Spy Academy” Basic craft supplies Handouts to be provided in classroom Class 1: Lemon, bowl, spoon, paintbrush, white paper, water Class 2: Flour, clear tape, washable marker, white paper Class 3/4: handouts in the classroom, scissors, markers, glue, metal brad to hold paper together (Paper fastener)
