Students will need the following materials:
paper towel tubes
milk carton(s)
2L bottles 
scissors (preferably an adult with a box cutter)
flowers, fruit, vegetables or herbs to plant
watering can or cup filled with water
dry towel
seed starting mix (any brand is fine - if using seeds)
small bag of garden soil (any brand is fine - if using plant starts)
popsicle stick or tongue depressor
permanent marker
