Join us for a fun Freeze Dance party to celebrate Spring. We will play fun freeze dance games designed to be inclusive of all students including those who are typically developing, autistic, ADHD, nonverbal, and ESL.

Class Experience

We will be playing fun freeze dance games to Spring-themed songs. As well go will add challenges to keep the kids engaged but they are also welcome to dance however they want to if desired. Challeges will include things such as "Show me your fastest dance moves", "Can you dance on your tiptoes?", and "Show me your silliest dancing". We will also play follow the leader freeze dance where each child gets a chance to be the leader, and take turns picking an animal to dance like.

Learning Needs
This class is designed to be inclusive of all students including those who are disabled, autistic / have autism, ADHD, nonverbal, ESL and more. Students can participate without speaking and activities can be easily modified by me as we go.
Parental Guidance
Students will need room to move around safely. Some students may require adult supervision.

Students will need room to dance and move safely.

Teacher expertise and credentials
I have been working with kids for over 15 years in different capacities, including as a sewing teacher, preschool teacher, caregiver for children with disabilities, a community support worker for autistic teens, a tutor, and a classroom aid. I have been running social groups for autistic children and teens on Outschool since 2020. I also teach educational classes about autism and sensory needs as well as running fun inclusive classes, like this one, for students of all abilities.
