In this 4 week class, dancers will have a wonderful introduction to Ballet technique in a positive way!
Class experience
"Springtime Ballet" is a wonderful Introduction to Ballet for young learners. Class will include primary Ballet technique such as the five Ballet positions, plies, releve, tendu, arabesque, coupe, passé and achappe. Basic stretching working up to splits and straddles will also be included. Basic motor skills such as hopping, skipping and gallops may be addressed. All technique is danced to Fantasy Garden Ballet music as well as our favorite Princess music! By the end of the multi day session...
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
*An open space free of obstacles is necessary for the safety of your dancer. *A leotard and tights is perfect, but not required. Comfortable, stretchy clothing will work as well. *Please pull long hair up. *A water bottle is great too.
