Description
Class Experience
Students will learn how to draw realistic images. We will draw realistic animals such as elephants and other subjects in this ongoing drawing art class. This is a realistic, abstract, and non-objective drawing art class using pencil ( charcoal and pastels are optional and extra but not essential). This ongoing drawing art class perfect for kids who homeschool or who need a supplemental course in art. I will be demonstrating how to draw different images. We will draw from the google slides...
This class is taught in English.
Students will learn how to create a line drawing (up to10 drawing per class) and how to use pastels, pencil, or charcoal. Drawings do not have to resemble the teachers drawing nor do they have to be perfect. We will focus on shading, proportion, and lines. New drawing techniques will be provided each week.
I have an extensive art background in drawing, painting, and clay(3-D art). I have homeschooled my three daughters from pre-K to 7th grades and I always included an art class and field trips to the High Museum in ATL, GA. I taught art in an actual elementary school in Massachusetts in the after school programs. I taught art in an actual middle school in Massachusetts in the special needs classroom in the mornings before school. I am certified to teach art in the state of MA.
Optional: drawings can be brought to the next class. I'd love to see drawing you have done and you can share with the class. We can showcase what you have done in and outside of class.
Supply List: many sheets of paper, pencil. Optional: charcoal, colored pencils, pastels. Feel free to use art supplies that you have on hand.
