Class Experience

In this ongoing class, the students will be learning about a new spring object. The students are shown a real picture of the spring object we are discussing. The students can tell the class what they like about that spring object. The students will be making a new spring object based on the spring object we are talking about in class. I will be doing the watercolour spring object watercolour art project with the students. At the end of the course, the students can show their spring object watercolour art project.
Week of March 15: Spring Flowers ( flower garden): The students will learn about flowers. The spring flowers that will be talked about will be sunflowers, tulips and orchids flowers. The students will be drawing those flowers with oil pastels as part of their flower garden. The students will be painting their flowers with oil pastels.
Week of March 22nd: Bees: The students will draw with oil pastels bees and a beehive and paint them with watercolour paints.
Week of  March 29th: Butterfly: The students will be drawing their butterfly and their wings symmetrical with shapes, lines and colours.
Week of April 5 :Bunny: The students will draw and paint their own spring bunny. The students can draw carrots for their own spring bunnies.
Week of April 12th: Umbrella: The students be making their own umbrella watercolour art project.
Week of April 19th:Kite: The students will draw a kite with oil pastels and paint it with watercolour paints.
Week of April 26th: Ladybug: The students will draw a ladybug on a leaf with oil pastels and paint it with watercolour.
Week of May 3rd: Snails: The students will draw a spring snail with oil pastels and paint it with watercolour.
Week of May 17th : Frog: The students will draw a frog and paint it with watercolour paints.
Week of May 24th: Baby duck: The students will draw a baby duck and paint it with watercolour paints.

Please supervise your student when they are doing their art project by making sure you are not on the camera.

Hello my name is Samara. I live in Montreal  and have been a Preschool educator for the past 5 years. 

In my classes , learners will have a consistent place to gather and learn that focuses on developmental skills which include fine motor , gross motor , cognitive , language and literacy, social and emotions . Let's learn shapes, colors , letters names , letters sounds , art , counting and so much more.

I have my  Diploma of College Studies in  Early Childhood Education degree from Vanier College in Montreal . I am a certified educator in Early Childhood Education with students aged 3 -5 years old. I have a certification in the highly successful Handwriting Without Tears and Lively Letters.

I am a proud and passionate Preschool educator. I have a natural love of teaching and bring patience and enthusiasm to the classroom. I have a great pleasure in helping students reach their developmental milestones. 

My philosophy is that students' interests matter  and they learn best when they have an effective relationship with their educator.  I believe that students learn and strive  at  their own pace.  I make learning fun and stimulating while focusing on the development milestones. I attempt to make learning play based , hands -on experience and child led .  I have a great enjoyment to make classes play based, hands- on experience , child - led  and engaging for each student . The students  will build self- confidence and a sense of self- esteem in my classes. I do ensure a successful and smooth transition to Kindergarten.

In my spare time I enjoy traveling , reading, baking and spending quality time with my friends and family.
