Description
Class Experience
Students will learn about foreground and background techniques and how to use brushes with acrylics along with a little color theory.
I have been painting, and teaching art for over twenty years and am always inspired by my students creativity.
A paint shirt, acrylics will stain clothes. One 8 by 10 canvas. One 1/2 inch flat brush, and one #12 round brush that comes to a nice point. Acrylic paints: white, blue and green for the background along with at least 3 colors for the tulip. I used red, yellow, orange, pink, and a little purple. Palette paper (or a foam plate works) Paper towels, and a bowl of water.
I will write a brief note to the student after class.
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
