American Sign Language signs for the Springtime season will be taught with a list of pictures with the words. Learners will practice the sign for the word and then find it with a “Sign and Find” scavenger Hunt. After the scavenger hunt is played we will review the signs for the words on the list. There will be a “ share and sign” where students will have the opportunity to bring something they like about spring to show to the class and we will learn how to sign about it. Students will learn how to sign all about spring including the spring time months, favorite activities in spring , spring time events and what they like about the springtime.
I have studied American Sign Language for 10 years. I completed a post graduate 4 year interpreter training program. I taught a signing activity program at an early childcare center to learners ages 2-6.
