Class Experience
🌺 This is an on-going class structure and learners can join at any time. 🌺 Small reading groups are perfect for children to practice a variety of literacy skills with an encouraging teacher. This course will help your child develop reading strategies and literacy skills in a small, interactive, upbeat, and supportive environment. 🌺 Please see the story information and class format information below, each class will follow the same format with minor changes in skills and strategies taught...
Learners will practice reading strategies Learners will show understanding of the story through comprehension activities Learners will practice sight words and vocabulary words Learners will practice reading fluency Learners will practice phonemic/phonological awareness Learners will practice listening skills and turn taking
Printables provided by the teacher - will be provided at least 24 hours before class time Craftivity supplies should be prepared and cut out prior to class Pencil and eraser Glue/Glue Stick Markers/Crayons A complete supply list for each book will be sent at least 24 hours before class time A copy of each book would be beneficial for extended reading practice
