Description
Class Experience
Welcome to the Spring Semester Book Club! In this book club, we will meet once a week for sixteen weeks to discuss our books. We will read one book a week, and students will need to be ready to discuss the stories during our meeting. We will read 4 science fiction books, 4 mystery books, 4 new releases, and 4 horror books. My main goal is to have students dig deeper into analyzing a novel and feel confident in sharing their thoughts with their peers. Topics that we will cover...
I have been running book clubs in person and online for over 10 years. I have experience working with students ages 8 and up and approach all topics in an age-appropriate way. If students need to be redirected, I will do that. I always listen to students and their opinions making them feel heard and appreciated for their thoughts.
The students will need to read the books prior to each meeting and come to class prepared to discuss.
Families are responsible for getting the books for their students.
