Class Experience
In this class we will be painting a pretty landscape, featuring a field in early spring, and trees both far in the horizon and near by. Class begins with a brief overview discussion of our landscape, and from there we will move into sketching and painting! Using a step by step approach, and a variety of techniques, students will learn how to create simple and dynamic paintings, and how to use watercolor paint to its best advantage. The class objectives (outside of an enjoyable experience and a pretty painting) is to break down a complex image into simple shapes, and learning some basic sketching and watercolor methods.
-watercolor paper -watercolor paint -large, medium, and small round paint brushes -pencil and eraser -paper towel and water cup -masking tape -hair blowdryer
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
