Spring Egg Hunt and STEM Celebration
What's included
1 live meeting
35 mins in-class hoursClass Experience
This party will give your learners a way to celebrate spring with their friends. We'll have an indoor virtual egg hunt. (Parents will hide eggs around the room before the party.) Slips of paper with the names/pictures of the ingredients for our science project will be hidden inside the eggs. We'll build egg towers together. Then for the science experiment, Learners will dye eggs using a chemical reaction. Party Outline * Introductions * Egg Hunt * Egg Tower Building * Dance Break (if time permits) * Science Project - Fizzy Dyed Eggs Be sure to read the materials list before class so that you can be prepared. If a learner doesn’t have all the supplies listed on the supply list that is ok. They are welcome to watch me do the science experiment. The pictures of the ingredients can be hidden by themselves as a scavenger hunt. They can also build using any other blocks like legos. We can make it work and still have a great time. :) Please review my class policies on my teacher profile. The class minimum of 4 learners will be adhered to. If we do not meet the minimum one week before the class start date, the class may be canceled to allow you to make alternate plans.
Learning Goals
Learners will get social interaction, talk briefly about the scientific method and use critical thinking while having fun!
