Description

Class Experience

In a small group, students will be learning to draw a spring cat in leaves on watercolor paper. Then we will use loose watercolor painting techniques to paint a bright and cheerful painting. Art freedom and fun will be emphasized in a relaxed setting. Lessons will be in a "work with me format" with visual and audio step-by-step instructions. I will show my finished work at the start of class as an example along with the supplies needed to create it. Students will be encouraged to add their...

This class is taught in English.

Watercolor painting techniques and drawing skills.

Non-toxic, child-safe watercolor paint set.
Paint brushes - Small round brush.
Cup of water.
White watercolor paper. Copy paper will not be thick enough to hold up to the water.
Pencil and eraser.
Paper towel.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

We will be using a cup of water with our watercolor paints. Please make sure all electronics are protected from water spills.
Use only non-toxic, child-safe watercolor paints.
