10 in-class hoursClass Experience
This exhilarating acting camp is for all experience levels. In this super fun week, you will find that our 2 hours a day together goes by super fast as you are having so much fun. The common complaint I get is, " this class is too short as it's so much fun!". Expect to fully engage all your senses and activate your entire creative imagination as you build characters, work with different emotions, use various household props, experiment with accents and inflections and work together to create the magic you see in Hollywood or at home on your tv. This class is fully interactive and we will use zooms awesome breakout rooms when needed to prepare scenes in small groups and then perform for the class and see the scenes come together! Each class you can expect teacher led warm up activities such as super fun improvisation games and tongue twisters and then a brief lesson and into rehearsal we go, implementing new tricks of the trade such as how characters enter and exit scenes. Day 1: I will introduce myself and warmly welcome each student to class. Then I will go over a few group expectations so that we can ensure a super fun and successful week as an ensemble. Students will then engage in some fun warm up improv games where we will get to know each other. From there we will talk about a few options for shows we can work on for the week. Students will then be assigned characters and we will do our first read through of a scene(this is called a table read..... this is the fun stuff the stars all do as a group when they are cast in a show or movie together). Day 2: Starts of with energizing improvisation games and then we start to get into character development with some fun and challenging questions so that I can get your creative minds flowing. We will then read through the chosen scene of the day with different emotional choices, and of course finding household items to be used as props and also dressing the best we can as our version of the character we are playing. Time to rehearse and perform with positive feedback and suggestions to improve even more than your already great abilities. Day 3-5: We will always start off with engaging and super fun improv games to relax and get the positive energy flowing through the group. We will be learning how to enter and exit a scene, how to work with accents and so much more. Expect each day to leave having learnt new things to help you in becoming the best actor you can be. YOU DON"T HAVE TO WANT TO BE AN ACTOR, join for a super fun week!
Learning Goals
Students will learn various improvisation and relaxation skills which help with social comfort. As well, there will be lots of laughs and new friendships made. Expect to learn character development and lingo the Stars use, as well as making emotional choices and thinking like the character. Students will have had a fun de-stressing week.

Teacher expertise and credentials
I have been in the acting industry since a very young child, acting in theatre.
From there, I went on to study theatre and film acting.
I have taught over 3000 acting students and have helped them to successfully prepare for their careers in acting and elsewhere . On average, 80% of my students have gone on to book work in film, tv and commercials.
My classes are so much fun as I’m a very inspirational and positive teacher and I will ensure that your child is fully engaged as my classes are exceptionally interactive, as I feel hands on learning in acting IS the only way. Students will learn through my various programs how to analyze and score scripts, build characters, relationship development, improv, auditioning techniques and method acting techniques.
We will work on both scenes and monologues.(depending on the course)
Even if your child doesn’t want to become an actor, acting classes have so many benefits that outweigh that aspect. Acting classes and improv classes have been known to improve confidence in children and adults alike as well as improve and lower their anxiety levels, helps with social skills and public speaking skills..... The benefits of taking an acting class are seen in as little as a few classes. I have heard from many parents that I have taught their children and they have all said they’ve seen such as changes in their child becoming more confident, having less anxiety, being more respectful and engaging in social situations, becoming more active listeners, higher self-esteem and so much more. If you have any questions please feel free to message me as I would be happy to work with you and answer any questions you may have.
