In this 5-day camp, students will be introduced to beginner-level Spanish, where they will sing, draw, write, and speak Spanish from Day 1. Each day, students will learn 5 letters & sounds, numbers, colors, shapes, and crafts.

In this one-week camp, students will be introduced to beginner-level Spanish, where they will sing, draw, write, and speak Spanish from Day 1. In one week, students will learn 5 letters & sounds, numbers, colors, shapes, and complete age-appropriate crafts. In each class, every student will be given multiple opportunities to speak in Spanish. Full immersion is the best scientific approach to language learning, and we provide guidance and encourage students to speak the Spanish that they are learning. We use Canva slides to provide direct instruction and embed age-appropriate videos in Spanish that can be found on YouTube. We provide daily activity bundles and arts & crafts projects to complement the lessons.

I have a B.A. in Spanish Language & Literature, an M.A. in TESOL, and a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership. I am a certified K-12 Spanish & ESOL teacher. I taught in public and private schools for 18 years and was a middle school and high school assistant principal and principal for 5 years. I have a private Spanish online preschool for children 3-6 years old, an online early language academy for school-age children, and a mentorship program to teach families Spanish so they can learn together.
I believe that learning Spanish at a young age has numerous benefits. By exposing children to a new language, they develop valuable communication skills, enhance their cognitive abilities, and gain a greater understanding of diverse cultures. For parents, it provides a unique opportunity for their child to stand out in a competitive world and opens up doors for future educational and career opportunities.
